PEOPLE will have their chance to shape the future development of Burnley's historic Weavers' Triangle at an event this week.
The 'Watch this Space' event will take place on Thursday at Nelson House, Nelson Square, at both noon and 6.30pm, with each session lasting for two hours.
The Weavers' Triangle is part of a multi-million pound regeneration scheme to transform the disused mills of Burnley's past into an innovative and mix of restaurants, bars, living apartments and offices.
David Brown, director of environment at Burnley Council said: "The sessions will be a good chance for people to view a presentation and sketches by the landscape architects showing their vision for the area, and give their own opinions.
"I do hope people will be able to come along and take part on the day as we need their contribution to help shape the area's future."
Coun Martin Smith, executive member for regeneration and housing, said: "This is a unique opportunity for people not only to find out more about these exciting plans to regenerate a much loved part of the town, but also a chance to have a say in its future.
For more information about 'Watch this Space' events and the Weavers' Triangle development contact Cecilia Whitaker at Burnley Council on 01282 477213.
