SNOW DROP WALKS.
Lytham Hall is organising their Snowdrop Walks and Spring Walks from Tuesday 29th January and they will take place throughout the Spring. They will welcome Groups to, as they put it, “visit the colours of Spring (snowdrops, daffodil, bluebells and rhododendrums) in the mature parkland of Lytham Hall” which is an 18th century Georgian House.
The prices are as follows – reduced rate entry to the Estate Gardens, £1 per head, per group; Guided Tour of the Hall, £5 per head, per group. The tea rooms (for cooked lunches) are open from 10am to 4-30pm.
On top of this we would have to hire a small coach or, if members would prefer to drive and share their costs with passengers, that might be arranged.
The above is just an idea. Some time ago members asked if we could arrange more trips. If you are interested in this one, please contact Roger Frost, by Friday 4th January, 2013
