Nelson Corporation
The Corporation of Nelson desire to extend their boundaries, so as to comprise the township of Barrowford Booth, and obtain all the authority and control over that area that they exercise over the existing borough; and to enlarge the limits of their gas and water supply areas to cover Roughlee Booth, Barley-with-Wheatley, and Wheatley Carr. Relief is to be sought from the oblgation to carry out the construction of compensation reservoirs 5 and 6, and the roadwork No. 15, authorised by the Nelson Local Board Act, 1888, and also from liability to afford compensation water under section 10 of that Act. Other regulative provisions of an ordinary kind will be also applied for.
