Can anyone help with finding possible death and place of burial for Alice Clegg. Born in burnley in 1847 daughter of George astin..last known living in briercliffe in 1901. With daughter Ellen Clegg. Not a widow but living separately from Thomas Clegg. Thomas died in 1908. Think maybe Alice died around the same time. Just wondering where Alice May have been buried.

Hi Shirley, I have had a look on the 1911 and there is an Alice Clegg living in Chapel Street Nelson with a 12 year old granddaughter, Alice Ayre. Could it be her?

Alternatively, there are two deaths that may tally with the info you provided. 1 is in 1908 , aged 60 and the other is in 1912 aged 67. I suspect the one in 1912 could be the same person as in the 1911 census.

I had a look on lan-opc but couldn't find a burial
