Not exactly Briercliffe I know - but I could make it be if I really had to.

I've been researching my nana's bit of the tree and they're a long line of stonemasons from the Brackenfield area of Derbyshire - back to my 3xg'grandfather Charles Limb born c 1808.

Although they sometimes wandered away from home for work, they usually went back but I've found a stray who ended up on the 1901 census at Herbert St Burnley.

So I'm sticking this in here for the benefit of any of his local descendants who might be interested.

Robert was born Marple, Cheshire, 1865. He married Clara Atherton (b1874) and by 1901 they had 3 children - Annie Victoria (1895), William (1896) & Lizzie (1898). If anyone wants any more information they can contact me through the forum.
